In the Heart of Tuscany
Stay in a typical Tuscan villa at the heart of romantic Tuscany from where you can discover this enchanting region of Italy at your own leisure.

Day 1. Independent arrival at the villa. rest of the day at leisure for relaxation. Welcome dinner with local cuisine.
Day 2. This morning join a guided tour of Florence to view the beautiful panorama from teh romatic Viale dei Colli to Piazzalae Michelangelo where we will visit the Santa Maria dei Fiore Duomo complex including the famous Baptistery with Donatello’s masterpiece: The Doors to Paradise. After the cathedral complex we will visit the Galley of Academia with Michelangelo’s David and other renowned works. Afternoon is free to discover Italy’s major art city of your own, or optional tour to Pisa.
Day 3. Today we suggest to visit charming San Gimignanao Tuscany’s Medieval skyscraper town famous for its late medieval atmosphere and frescoes. The tiny hill town overlooks a charming countryside of vineyards, rolling hills and Cyprus trees. After admiring the town’s unique atmosphere and art, drop in for wine tasting at a local winery nearby on via Francigena to taste the excellent wines of the region. Overnight at the villa.
Day 4. Today we recommend you discover the Chianti hills, a wine growing region that has been famous for its wine production since ancient times. Stop at Greve’s small town center to taste some of the local organic cheese and discover nearby castles and parish churches, like the Church of Spaltenna or the Abbey of Coltibuono. Information on sites to visit will be provided. return to the villa for overnight.
Day 5. Breakfast at the villa, end of service. For extensions check out our other Italy tours.

Villa Casagrande – Figline Valdarno (Florence)
It’s located in a nice little town, only 25 km from Florence and 40 km from San Gimignano.It was built in the 13th century and hosted great artists and philosophers. Today Villa Casagrande remains a precious jewel full of art treasures and has been carefully restored, blending history and modern day comforts.
All the rooms are equipped with telephone, color TV and private bath/shower.
Available in the Villa sauna and fitness room.
The restaurant, situated in the ancient weaponry room, offers refined dishes of Tuscan cuisine accompanied with the excellent Chianti wines produced in the cellar of the Villa.
