Itinerary: Rome – Naples – Pompeii – Positano (2 nights) – Rome
Day 1 – ROME – NAPLES – POMPEII – POSITANO
Departure from Rome at 7.30am to Naples. (Possibility of pick up from central Rome hotels) Upon arrival in Naples, the group will enjoy a walking tour through the city center. Then we will have lunch in a typical Neapolitan Pizzeria restaurant (drinks not included). Afterwards the group will continue to Pompeii for a guided visit. This ancient Roman city was destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D. The visit to Pompeii also includes a stop at the coral and cameo factory where we will have the opportunity to see items made with a technique dating back to the Greek times. Proceed to Positano. Overnight at the hotel. Meals: L
Day 2 – POSITANO
American Buffet breakfast at the hotel and time at leisure to spend the day on the beach, go shopping or visit close by Amalfi, Sorrento or Ravello. Why not have a romantic dinner in one of the pretty restaurants dotted all around the harbor or in the town center. Overnight in Positano. Meals: B
Day 3 – POSITANO – POMPEII – ROME
American buffet breakfast at the hotel. Morning at leisure. Meeting point at the hotel at 2.30/3:00pm and transfer to Pompeii where you will join the bus to come back to Rome. Arrival in Rome around 9.00pm. Guaranteed drop off point: Viale Washington, Viale Luigi Enaudi, Termini Station Area, Via Ludovisi. Transfer services and extra nights in Rome available upon request.
