Itinerary: Rome – Naples- Pompeii – Sorrento – Capri – Rome
Day 1 – ROME – NAPLES – POMPEII – SORRENTO
Departure from Rome at 7.30am, possibility of pick up from central Rome hotels. Upon arrival in Naples, the group will enjoy a walking tour of the city center. Afterwards we will have lunch in a typical Naples restaurant (drinks not included). The group will then continue to Pompeii for a guided visit. This ancient Roman city was destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D. The visit to Pompeii also includes a visit of a coral and cameo factory where we will have the opportunity to admire items made with a technique dating back to Greek times. Afterwards we will proceed to Sorrento, the gateway to the Amalfi coast. This colorful, historical town has a pretty waterfront with many fishing boats. Check in at the hotel in Sorrento, dinner and overnight. Meals: L D
Day 2- SORRENTO – CAPRI
American buffet breakfast at the hotel. Today we depart at 07:30 am to head to the island of CAPRI via water ferry. Once on the island you will visit, the BLUE GROTTO (weather permitting), and make a stop at the famous Piazzetta. A minibus will take you up to ANACAPRI where you will have lunch. After lunch you will be transferred to your hotel and you will have free time for a relaxing afternoon. Why not plan a romantic night out in Capri by enjoying a special dinner in one of the islands panoramic restaurants? Overnight at the hotel. Meals: B L
Day 3 CAPRI – SORRENTO – ROME
American buffet breakfast at the hotel. Your morning is free for you to discover the island on your own. At around 2.15pm we will check out from the hotel and depart to SORRENTO. Upon arrival we will transfer to Pompeii where you will join your bus back to Rome. Arrival in Rome around 9.00pm Guaranteed drop off point: Viale Washington, Viale Luigi Enaudi, Termini Station Area, Via Ludovisi. Transfer services and extra nights in Rome available upon request.
