DAY 01 – (FRIDAY OR SUNDAY) ROME
Arrival on their own at Hotel and overnight.
DAY 02 – (SATURDAY OR MONDAY) ROME, ASSISI, SIENA, FLORENCE
(B,D)
Departure by deluxe motor coach at 7:15 a.m. to Assisi. Arrival
and free time to visit this tiny town embraced by walls from the Middle
Ages. You can visit the Basilica of St Frances with Giotto and Cimabue's
master pieces. Continue on to Sienna, This gothic city is constructed on
three hills in the heart of Tuscany. and is encircled by its ancient
walls. The city is famous for its splendid square " Piazza del
Campo ", designed in the shape of a shell . Here, every year the
famous "Palio" takes place. See also the elegant Palace and
the Cathedral. In the afternoon proceed on to Florence. Dinner and
overnight at the Hotel
DAY 03 – (SUNDAY OR TUESDAY) FLORENCE (B,D)
Breakfast at the Hotel and morning tour of the city known as the
"Cradle of Renaissance" with its many artistic beauties.
Visit the Dome by Brunelleschi, the Bell tower by Giotto and the
Baptistery with its golden bronze doors, the "Gates of Paradize".
The sightseeing tour continues through Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo
Vecchio and finally the church of Santa Croce. Afternoon at leisure or
optional tour to Pisa with its unique leaning tower on the Square of
Miracles. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel in Florence.
DAY 04 – (MONDAY OR WEDNESDAY) FLORENCE, BOLOGNA, PADUA, VENICE (B,D)
Breakfast at Hotel., then departure to Bologna the city of
arcades. With is 38 kms long porticos it is sheltering you from
the hot rays of the sun even during hottest summer days. This ancient
university city is also known for its medieval towers that provided both
accommodation and defense during hard times. See Independence Street,
Neptune Square and Major square, King Renzo, the Podesta palace and the
Basilica de San Petronio. In the afternoon continue on to Padua with its
San Antonio Basilica. Evening arrival in Venice the city of gondolas and
romance. Dinner and overnight in Venice (3 star hotels in Mestre only
with supplement for Venice downtown island accommodation)
DAY 05 – (TUESDAY OR THURSDAY) VENICE (B,D)
Breakfast at Hotel and visit of this mysterious city built on 177
islands, 150 canals and 400 bridges. The sightseeing includes vaporetto
ride to St. Mark's square and visit to the Doge's Palace
(external). Boat ride to Murano, center of the world-famous Murano
glasses. Afternoon at leisure, dinner and overnight in Venice
DAY 06 – (WEDNESDAY OR FRIDAY) VENICE, MULTEPULCIANO TUSCANY,
ROME (B)
After breakfast depart from Piazzale Roma to tuscany, known for its
romantic churches and castles and its infamous wines. You will proceed
to Bal Di Chiana with a stop in Montepulciano, a medieval town rich with
history and art. Known for its nobile wine, which can be purchased in
wine houses in town, Montepulciano is also the host of an annual jazz
and wine festival every July. Spend the afternoon getting to know
Montepulciano at your own pace and tasting the local wines. Evening
check into your hotel in Rome.
DAY 07 – (THURSDAY OR SATURDAY) ROME (B)
Breakfast at the Hotel. Departure from the Hotel from 07.45- 08:00 am
approximately to visit by foot this famous city and its artistic
beauties among which: St. Peter’s Square, Navona Square, Pantheon (visit
inside), Trevi Fountain . Afternoon at leisure and
overnight.
DAY 08 – (FRIDAY OR SUNDAY) ROME, NAPLES, POMPEII, SORRENTO (B,L,D)
Breakfast at the Hotel. After leaving Rome, the coach will take the " Sun Route " motorway, driving through the regions of Lazio and Campania, with a view of the Abbey of Montecassino. Upon arrival in Naples there will be a short panoramic city tour : Mergellina, Castel dell'Ovo, Plebiscito Square, the Royal Palace, the Maschio Angioino and the port. Lunch in a restaurant on our way to Pompeiii and then visit of the excavations of the famous Roman city destroyed by the eruption of
Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D. Leaving Pompeii and driving along the Sorrentine coast, arrival in Sorrento. Dinner and overnight in Hotel.
DAY 09 – (SATURDAY OR MONDAY) SORRENTO, CAPRI, ROME (B,L)
After breakfast we board the boat for the Island of Capri., where, weather and sea conditions permitting, we will visit the Blue
Grotto in small rowing boats. Lunch in a restaurant and free time for personal activities. In the afternoon departure to Rome. Arrival and overnight in Rome.
DAY 10 – (SUNDAY OR TUESDAY) ROME
Breakfast at the Hotel . End of services.
