ITINERARY
Day 1 MILAN-GARDA LAKE-SIRMIONE-GARDONE RIVIERA
Meeting with your Tour Leader in MILAN and depart by coach to GARDA
LAKE. Visit the small village of SIRMIONE with important Roman and
medieval ruins. Free time on your own in this pretty town for lunch.
Depart for a boat cruise along the lake and arriving in GARDONE RIVIERA.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 ISEO LAKE-FRANCIACORTA-MAGGIORE LAKE
After breakfast, departure to ISEO LAKE. Enjoy a boat trip to the three
islands including MONTE ISOLA, the greatest lake island in Europe.
Proceed for the visit of a local wine cellar with tasting of the famous
“FRANCIACORTA” WINE. Wine tasting and snack. Transfer to MAGGIORE LAKE.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 MAGGIORE LAKE
After breakfast enjoy a full day tour visiting the magnificent BORROMEAN
ISLANDS with two splendid palaces and their gardens. Famous throughout
world these gardens are known for the quality of the landscape, the care
and the variety of plant architectures, which consists of over 2000
varieties of different species. Lunch in a typical restaurant on
PESCATORI’S ISLAND. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 ORTA LAKE-COMO LAKE
After breakfast enjoy a tour visiting the beautiful VILLA TARANTO in
PALLANZA, where you will find a real explosion of flowers, colors and
scents. Then departure to ORTA LAKE. Free time for lunch on your own in
ORTA. Transfer by boat and visit of the pretty ST GIULIO’S ISLAND. In
the afternoon departure for COMO LAKE, arriving in TREMEZZO. Dinner and
overnight at the hotel.
Day 5 COMO LAKE-BELLAGIO
After breakfast, transfer by ferry to LENNO and visit of the marvelous
VILLA BALBIANELLO a spectacular peninsula located on the western shore
of Como Lake. Transfer by ferry to BELLAGIO where you will have free
time for lunch on your own. Early afternoon coming back to TREMEZZO and
visit VILLA CARLOTTA, famous for its art collections and for its
botanical garden. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 6 COMO LAKE-MILAN
After breakfast, transfer to MILAN Rail Station. End of the services.
MEETING POINT: At 8.00 am the Tour Leader will welcome to you with a
sign “Curiosus” in front of the Hotel Excelsior Gallia (Piazza Duca
d’Aosta, 9) on the left of Milan Central Railway Station.
