Booking Conditions

General Conditions
Availability: Most hotels, arrangements and packages in our programs are available on an instant confirmation basis. However, certain hotels and some programs may be available on request only.
Deposit and Payments
For tours, FIT (Independent) bookings and packages, we require a nonrefundable deposit of Euro 200 per person (the equivalent in dollars based on exchange rates on deposit date) to make the reservation. Final payment is due 40 days prior to departure. For music packages and cruises we require Euro 400 per person nonrefundable deposit (equivalent in dollars) at the time of reservation. Final payment is due 40 days before departure. If reservation is made within 10 days of departure, payment must be by cashier’s check, certified check, bank transfer or credit card only. Documents will not be released until full payment has been received.
Changes in reservation
Subject to a Euro 20 (equivalent in dollars) handling fee. Tickets to venues are not changeable at any time after ordered
Prices are guaranteed in the original euro currency published on our web pages for the seasons specified. Dollar rates fluctuate depending on daily exchange rates.
Responsibility of Italy Travel Tours/Allegro Holidays (“ALH”)
ALH and/or its agents act only in the capacity as agents for the passenger in all matters connected with hotel accommodations, sightseeing tours and transportation, whether by rail, air, bus automobile, ship or any other means, and as agents hold themselves free of responsibility for any damage or inconvenience occasioned from any cause whatsoever. ALH and/or its agents will not be responsible for any damage, expense or inconvenience caused by late arrivals or departures, change of schedule, strikes or any other conditions, nor will they be responsible for the loss of or damage to baggage or any of the passenger’s belongings. We strongly recommend to purchase cancellation insurance with every booking, inquire about applicable rates! Insurance rates vary depending on home address, amount to be covered and the ages of the insured. ALH reserves the right to not accept or retain any person on a tour at any time before and during the tour.  ALH has the right to book other hotels within the same or upgraded category than stated in the packages.
Cancellation of any package and/or land arrangements more than 40 days prior to departure (or 90 days for music packages and cruises)  are subject to a cancellation penalty equaling the deposit amounts, plus any charges imposed by the airlines. All tickets to cultural performances are fully nonrefundable after reservation is made. Cancellation within 40 days prior to departure (or 90 days for music packages and cruises) or no-show are subject to the full cost of the package/tour.
There is no refund for any unused portion of the tours and packages. We recommend the purchase of cancellation insurance. Please inquire about rates.
Delivery of Documents
Most documents are sent to you as email attachments, however, reservations made within 21 days of departure may require special courier delivery of documents that can not be emailed, at the client’s expense. Should the desired hotel, car or program be “sold out”, we will make alternative suggestions to meet your requirements.

Entry to Destination.
Valid passport is needed to enter your destination country(ies). It is the traveler’s responsibility to check with their closest consulate of the destination country(ies) whether they require a visa to enter. ALH is not responsible for any refusal of entry by local authorities to any of our destination countries due to lack of proper documentation, security issues or any other reasons.
