ITINERARY FOR FIRST CLASS AND STANDARD TOUR
Day 01 - (Sunday or Thursday) Rome
Meet and greet at airport and transfer to Hotel. Arrival at the Hotel and
overnight.
Day 02 - (Monday or Friday) Rome (B)
After breakfast depart from the hotel for a walking tour. (No tour leader during
the stay in Rome) Visit St Peters Basilica Navona Square, the Pantheon and Trevi
Fountain. In the afternoon explore the rest of the city at our own leisure or
take an optional tour. Overnight.
Day 03 - (Tuesday or Saturday) Rome / Assisi / Siena / Florence (B, D)
Morning departure by deluxe motor to Assisi. Arrival and free
time to visit this tiny town embraced by walls from the Middle Ages. You can
visit the Basilica of St Frances with Giotto and Cimabue's master pieces.
Continue on to Sienna, This gothic city is constructed on three hills in the heart of Tuscany.
and is encircled by its ancient walls. The city is famous for its splendid square " Piazza del Campo ", designed in the shape of a shell . Here, every year the famous "Palio" takes place. See also the elegant Palace and the Cathedral. In the afternoon proceed on to Florence. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel.
Day 04 - (Wednesday or Sunday )Florence (B, D)
Breakfast at the Hotel and morning tour of the city known as the
"Cradle of Renaissance" with its many artistic beauties. Visit
the Dome by Brunelleschi, the Bell tower by Giotto and the Baptistery with
its golden bronze doors, the "Gates of Paradize". The sightseeing tour continues through Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio and finally the church of Santa Croce.
Afternoon at leisure or optional tour to Pisa with its unique leaning tower on
the Square of Miracles. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel in Florence
Day 05 -(Thursday or Monday )Florence Padua Venice (B,D)
Breakfast at Hotel., Departure for Venice via Padua with its San Antonio
Basilica. Continue to Venice and upon arrival enjoy a guided walking tour of
this unique city. Exterior view of the Basilica of St. Mark, the Doge's Palace,
the Bridge of Sighs and the Prisons. Dinner and overnight.
Day 06 - (Friday or Tuesday )Venice (B, D)
Breakfast at Hotel and visit of this mysterious city built on 177 islands, 150
canals and 400 bridges.
Boat ride to Murano, center of the world-famous Murano glasses. Afternoon at
leisure, dinner and overnight in Venice.
Day 07 - (Saturday or Wednesday ) Venice, Montepulciano Tuscany
- Rome (B)
Breakfast and departure by motor coach from Piazzale Roma to the famous area of
Tuscany interesting for its romanic
churches as Pievi and its castles, area where the production of the most famous
wines takes place. After a short panoramic tour of the Chianti Region we will
reach Valle D’Orcia and stop in Montepulciano, precious medieval town rich of
history and art, known for its “nobile” wine that can be bought in the
winehouses of the town. For wine and jazz lovers, in July there is the Jazz and
Wine festival. Free time at disposal. In the afternoon return to Rome. Overnight.
Day 08 - (Sunday or Thursday ) Rome (B)
Breakfast at Hotel and transfer to the airport. End of services.
